BPM meets UX: You-Get hosts first Meetup at the Amsterdam Office

At You-Get, we love talk about what we do and we’re always happy to engage with enthusiastic people. That is why we are so excited about Meetup. Meetup.com is a platform where anyone can organise and host events about things they love, like or find interesting. Whether your passion is Cooking, Astronomy, IoT or AI, there is likely to be a Meetup group that appeals to you.

A number of colleagues at You-Get saw that there were a lot of meetup groups and events catered towards the business to consumer arena. There seemed to be fewer events concerning business to business or enterprise subjects. We decided that there was a gap to fill as many people work in this field.

On January 26th, we welcomed the Amsterdam UX Cocktail Hours group to our Amsterdam office to talk about the importance of User Experience in enterprise processes. At the beginning of the event, there was time to network and enjoy a slice of pizza with a drink. Next, both You-Get and Mirabeau, gave talks on their vision on how Business Process Management and User Experience design can enhance the way people interact with systems and perform their daily jobs.

There was plenty of time throughout the evening for people to get to know each other and discuss the topics and theme of the evening. The event was free to attend and all tickets were snapped up well in advance. Successfully hosting our first meetup has created appetite to proceed with founding our own meetup group.

We are delighted to announce that we will start our own Meetup group in the near future. Our group will focus on the challenges of modern enterprise and look at trends and hot topics in the Business Process Management space. From RPA to RAD, ODM to EDA, we’ll be putting on events that we feel cater to the enterprise challenges of today and beyond. Send an email to Desmin (ddekker@you-get.com) to receive updates on where you can find our group and when the first event will take place!
